#Trendy Tuesday

I stumbled across this hashtag and I knew I had to join in! I feel like in this day and age that trends come and go and it would be fun to highlight some of the top trends per season. It really is easy to implement a trend and make it fit for you!
This actually goes well with the current short 3 Day ShopBopSale with almost 40% not $40 but 40% sale! So today I will be sharing my favorite styles in the sale and then I will style the trendy items myself in high-low fashion way!!
So without further ado I will start the first installment of #TrendyTuesday
Those listed above are my top picks in that Animal print Category and I will go over my top 5!

#1 Leopard Black & White Booties!!

I don't know why but I love when shoes have an animal print and on their own can command a room! These right here do just that! They have the statement maker with the black and white pair of booties! This is one of the most Crush-Worthy shoes for Fall!! They are a splurge from Rag & Bone but def worth it as they will most def be trendy for years to come! click here to shop!

This dress alone makes a statement like the booties above! I would wear cute nude or black pumps to complete the look.  *Also even add in a bomber jacket to kick up the edginess a notch! click here to shop!
This shirt from Current Elliot is one of my favorite classic Fall staples. The material is of this luxurious silk and pairs well with everything. Can be dressed up with a pencil skirt and pumps or dressed down with blue jeans and loafers. click here to shop!
This is an actual animal print top with has a wide assortment of prints and styles and is actually super trendy and cute! This design is from Victoria Beckham and even comes with a matching skirt. click here to shop!

Is it cheetah print or is it leopard?? It doesn't event matter as they are tooo chic to care!! These are cute as well as they are a mix of prints to make them super trendy and super chic! The way the two prints mix is seamless and will dress up an all black or all white outfit! click here to shop!
Animal prints are super trendy but I believe and will be trendy for more years to come!
Also FYI To shop the Shopbop Sale click here as its a fantastic sale! Also want to note I am not affiliated with Shopbop whatsoever and only posting as its a great sale.  Hope y'all enjoyed todays post!!

Leopard Shoesies for Fall

Hey yall today on the blog I am sharing some of my favorite(drumroll please.....) Leopard Shoes!
These are all some of my favorites from local retailers that may dress up any outfit and take it to next level FALL style!

I personally wear Leopard with lots of neutrals and even in an all black outfit and a pop of Leopard shoes is all that is needed for them to really pop and be the amazing show-stopping style that they are!!

#1 Platform(that 70s show) Style

The photo is courtesy of the Net-a-Porter website! They are modeled just how I would wear them-ALL Black look! For the price that they are $1695, these better be the showstoppers!! Click here to shop!

#2 Incredible Fierceness
These are just so damn sexy yall!! I had to share these! These are fyrahhhh and would just need a matching lbd-little black dress to show these off!! I personally have never heard of this brand before(Altuzarra) but I am definitely down to check out other styles by them based on this one pair of shoes!!! Click here to shop!

#3 Saint Laurent Black Sparkle Leopard Booties
These have a chunky heel so I would pair it with a cute sweater dress! They also have the hint of sparkle on the spots so these are right up my alley as your girl loves sparkle!!! Click here to shop!

#4 Kendall & Kylie
These remind me of the shoes I saw at Banana Republic last year and pictured above. As the Banana Republic option was discontinued and from last season this pair of shoes is the closest option minus the calf hair option. Also these are priced at only $165 so they are similar in price. Click here to shop!

#5 Hunter Leopard Rain Boots
These are short boots and I never thought I would come across such a perfect pair of Rainboots before scrolling across these beauties!! They are shorter than the regular tall Hunter boots but they make up the height with the fierceness of the leopard print!! Click here to shop!

For more of my picks keep scrolling below!

Wedding Wednesday Bridal Sneak Peek Edition

Bridal Sneak Peek

Hey yall! Today I am sharing a couple more sneak peeks from my Bridal Session with Bailey Elizabeth from OpalxOnyx Photography!!!
Yall to say I am excited is really an understatement....!! But anywho I am def counting down the days til the full reveal of the Bridal session!!
Today I will just be sharing just a couple of my favs from the sneak peek package. The location was at White Rock Lake and was literally one of the best weather days for the shoot!

The week prior we had originally planned on having the shoot but weather was not permitting AT ALL!! It was raining cats and dogs and even squirrels and elephants too lol! So I was sooo lucky that Bailey graciously saved me the headache and worry and rescheduled it for the following week.  This ended up making the Bridal Session the week AFTER the wedding! I cant even tell you how  this ended up being an unexpected blessing in the mist of the wedding planning chaos.
I was able to be calm and collected during the shoot and even took photos with her that i didn't take with the wedding photographer the day of the event! So if anyone ever asks me I HIGHLY RECOMMEND taking your bridals AFTER the wedding! It will be a more calm and collected session than before!

Thank yall so much for checking out my sneak peeks and stay tuned for more wedding picks to come once I get the full album!!

Slayage of the Edges

This week as I'm scrolling through my Elle October magazine I was so surprised and elated to say the least to see the article about Baby Hairs by Janell H. Hickman. I have had to struggle
to lay my edges as I have THICK hair and if my edges are not permed they will not lay down....😂😂😂 so this article was definitely meant for me to read!

Anywho I thought it was mad cool that ELLE a national magazine had this article published and even brought up the appropriateness of having the edges laid. Some celebrities in the past who were not born with baby hairs have tried to mock or emulate the look of laid edges and have received backlash as they were not born with them. I personally think people should flaunt what they've got but not cut their hair to emulate this look!

Overall I thought it was mad cool and progressive of the Elle magazine to publish tips on having your edges laid!
Yasss queen as everyone knows as a black women one of the best compliments(okay top 10) is someone complimenting you in your laid edges!!!

In honor of today's post I'm sharing my tips on laid edges!

Materials needed
-Hick's Edge Control(my personal favorite as I have THiCK hair)

Make sure your hair is moisturizer and you don't use too much hair gel as you don't want your hair to break off! Also make sure you moisturize your hair with maybe (olive oil, aloe, coconut oil, or castor oil according to Taliah Waajid.
She also recommend that you wet your baby hairs before applying the hair gel which was a step I was missing for smoother application! The more you know!!

Also sharing some edge slayage below for inspo!!

Hope y'all enjoyed this post!
